"How's that novel comin?" It's not. I haven't worked on it in years because I had other things to do and that turned out to be a waste of time. So now, I'm going to Dance, Shop, Work. It's like Eat, Pray, Love but more realistic. Who the hell has money to travel the world when they end a relationship? Not a government animal shelter worker, that's for sure. Instead I'm doing everything I miss and everything I've ever wanted to do.

Sunday night, someone I really cared about said somethings that hurt me more than I ever thought possible. In the middle of the night, while I couldn't sleep, I wrote the best piece I think I will ever write.
I am so glad to see a new post from you - and so sad to see what it says. But it sounds like you were able to draw something good out of it.
This song...this song. I can't remember if you're a Firefly / Serenity fan, but the person who is represented in my mind by this song also made me know what it felt like to be Wash in his final scene.
I know someday you'll have a beautiful life I know you'll be a star...
